The following processes are implemented:
 

• Dry sorption with lime hydrate or sodium hydrogen carbonate
• Wet gas cleaning with sodium hydroxide solution, sulphuric acid, lime, limestone
   
• Catalytic processes such as SCR-Denox or catalytic oxidation
• Thermal processes such as thermal oxidiser (TO) or regenerative thermal oxidiser (RTO)
• Adsorption and desorption processes with activated carbon adsorbers
